The City of Ostrów Wielkopolski — logo

The coat of arms of the city is an image of a royal apple in blue with two crossed keys and a ribbon encircling with a cross in gold on the field of the shield of arms in red. 

The flag of the city of Ostrow is a rectangular plane. On the red background is centrally placed a circle and two symmetrical yellow stripes. The circle and stripes refer to the city's coat of arms (the royal apple).

The main goal of Ostrow Wielkopolski's new visual identity is to maintain graphic consistency across a wide variety of activities. For years, the main sign of the city, present on seals and coats of arms, was the royal apple and a ribbon girdled with a cross. The new identification should refer to this tradition and at the same time give it a modern character.

Assumptions of the project: heraldic character of the sign, reference to the history of the city, modern form of the sign, use of one color, simplicity and easy expansion of the sign.
